Well the guy who was gonna buy my car bailed n me cause he did not have the entire amount that we agreed upon.  So I am going to post this hear.  

1990 TGP

159,XXX miles on it
- Replaced engine two years ago, along with new gaskets from the heads up.
- Brand new turbo from A-1 Turbo in California was installed last Septmeber.  
- Transmission works greats, shifts smoothly

- Interior is a little dirty and has two cigarette burn holes.  ALl the power works except for the lumbar support and power locks.  

- Car is red with beige cloth interior, no sunroof, has AC Delco Tape deck in it, have original CD player but works on occassion.  HUD Works

- Replaced parts: Spark plugs (AC Delco), Wires, PS Pump, New Coolant tank, Brand new front tires, rear are fairly new with 80% tread left, new power window motor, K&N filter on turbo, various interior pieces replaced.

Things that need fixing:
- Master Cylinder leaks fluid (It was rebuilt by prior, but still has issues, so it can be sent back and repaired for free because it is under warrenty)

- Has a dent in driver front fender and the hood and fender are out of alignment, not that hard of a fix.

I had enjoyed this car all summer, but between the brake issues and finding a new porject, I wish to sell htis car to someone that will take the time and use it.  Would be a great car if the brakes were fixed, or you can use it for parts.  The motor, tranny, and turbo are great and this would be a good car to do a swap with.  

I am looking for $1800 or best offer. As I said before, I am a MOTIVATED seller!

I agree, I went with my roommate to test drive one that he bought.  The car is fast and handles like a dream, but it is soooooooooo small inside.  The Back seat sucked!  Even with four doors it felt small.

Well I sold my TGP and I am clearing out my garage for a new project, so I want to get rid of my TGP parts that are laying around. Here is a list:

- TGP Engine, it is not complete, has no exhaust manifolds, turbo, or
upper intake or start. It has about 115,000 miles on it and ran good
when pulled. Would be great for a rebuild. It also has no wiring
harness. ($125 bo)

- HUD and dim switch (person before me cut the wires for HUD unit when
removing, but I will fish through dash and find plug and remaining wires)
($50 bo)
- Factory Cross-over Pipe (not sure if good, I was gonna use it as a core)
($40)
- TGP Computer ($35 bo)
- DIC and console cover ($35 bo)
- Close to mint rear leather seats ($50 each)

I am not looking to make any profit. THis was stuff I removed out of my parts car and I figured some here could use it since I will not be needing it

A friend and I were joking around about that the other day.  I guess it could be done, but I think it would be way too much money and time.  But if that guy has the galls to do it, then go for it!!

OK, here it goes.  I had my PM III rebuilt by Prior back in the middle of July.  I installed it in early August and have been very satisfied.  However, I noticed the other day that there was fluid dripping from the car.  I take a look, and it is brake fluid.  After further investigation the fluid appears to be coming from the lower part of the resivior and then dripping down to the sub frame where is runs alonf the frame and falls all over the place.  I know it is the resivior because that is the only place that has fluid on it and if I sit under the car and look up I can see it drip from the metal part that the resivior is attached too.  

So I was wondering if there is a bolt of some sort that holds the resivior to the shaft underneath it that may need tightening?  Or should I take the unit out and send it back to Prior?  

If I can't get these breaks straightened out, I may just sell the car.

Does anyone know why it is suggested to use an g1 mitsubishi eclipse or talon BOV?  I have also been thinking about this mod, and after hearing all this great feedback, I am really considering it in the near future.

I have noticed the same thing on my TGP, the Wheels from the 89 are definitely a lighter gold than the ones on the 90.  I have no idea why this is, but I have noticed it.

The asking price is $795, down from $1395 in lasts weeks add.  
All the add says is "Runs and Drives good, body good, needs a few things"

Does anyone know which website has the picture of the Turgo Grand Prix article from Hot Rod Magazine around 1989? :?   I remember seeing it before, but I can not seem to find it now.
