Problems & Solutions / broken crank sensor help

I had that happen once I just pushed the broken part all the way back untill hit hit the crank then I used a sheetrock screw by hand and lightly screwed it to grip it on the edge just enough to get a grip and slide it out. it took 2 trys but came right out.

Mine was all messed up when I got it shit it had a extention cord and a phone cord for tail lights.
look at you Dic computer behind the glove box make sure all your wires are okay there and not melted.... Run a Jumper form one side to the other and see if that helps... look at the colors and should be able to figure it out I will go and see if I can scan my STE suplimental book then PM you for you email addy to send it...

If I had the money I would offer 7500 or so being its been taken care of....heck if I found one with less then 10,000 miles and say it was Burgandy with Tan Leather I would not be scared to pay 15K for it....

Thanks, the Mods Done to here are to make her look completly stock. its all internal parts BOV's and Turbo internals. I dont have any of the specs because the guy I bought it from wanted to keep them because he got a 96 BLACK VR4, what I really want is to get a spyder when the money comes around.....

Me and my Buddy where out playing yesterday and well I was in the STE, Trying to get a Video of the 50mph Burn out...well to 50MPH but I was on Sandy wet Roads and thats to easy I need to wait for the Dry weather after the streets are clean......that and we couldnt get the damn cam to work....grrr


anyways since it was a Nice Day I figured lets take the VR out for a Run...well on the way to where we where going to tape this I messed with my buddy really bad but he was in Front with the STE....

then on the way back I let him Drive the VR because he has only driven it twice...well when I was going 80+ He Blew past me like I was standing still...well needless to say I tired to keep up but to no advail....that little 3.1 turbo couldnt catch that VR no matter how much I tied...

we stopped and did a Drag but He had it all the way...AWD so you know...
cant wait to show him up with it when hes in his z34 this summer...

Needless to say I need to mod this STE soon.....but I have projects everywhere you know what I mean.....

I dont even think if I did Acctually get it to 450hp with a 5spd and 75/125 shots of Juice I'd Keep up with the 420HP VR4 (yes 420 not 320)

Mine Use to do that but after I changed my coilpacks it stopped doing that. and I always let my car Run for 1-2 mins before shutting it off...

I have no Idea why when I changed my coil packs it stopped running for 10 mins after...now its just 15-30 seconds.

I'll look around and see I have a set of Puller GP fans at my house {if my ex didnt do something with them like she did with my extra STE headlights} ...I wont be back untill the weekend to check though....

I had to sand mine lightly to get the light to show though then I got a red dash blub from a 89-91 Bonneville.  looks perfect with the Rest of the cluster.

the pistons have an extra Ring in them if I remember correctly....all I know is im going to go to a 3100 piston
