Problems & Solutions / powermaster brakes
February 05, 2005, 05:06:51 PM
I appreciate it. I think that my problem is fatal.  The old power master is cracked just like you said. sounds like a change over to conventional or
a rebuilt from PRIOR. Thanks for your help. I'm sure I will have more questions in the future.

I know this has probably been beat to death and i am sorry for burdening
yall with the question but i need some help.  I had a guy give me 1990
turbo gtp. no brakes what so ever. pedal goes to the floor and remains there until i manually lift it with my foot. I donot hear the pump running
when I turn on the ignition. I jumped the motor relay and fluid runs out of the back of the power master system. I have read online how to rebuild this system seems to be fairly simple process.  by the way I am an ASE
certified mechanic but on heavy trucks...so with a little help i think I can accomplish this. I also have read how to convert it over to conventional
vacuum brake system..(not hard but time consuming). Has anyone tried
either process. any help would be appreciated..
