Performance / Re: These injectors right!?

when mine went bad, i bought a set of used stock 350 TPI injectors.  they run fine, no tuning yet.  i think they are 24# compared to our stock  22#.  same pressure rating, and i am getting 26 mpg avg.  :icon_mrgreen:

i have a gt2876, and i am only running 8# with stock tuning and injectors for now.  i bought mine with the opt. .86 a/r turbine outlet.  it doesnt lag bad at all, by 2200 rpm i am at 8 psi.  i recommend that when you change your turbo, you add a BOV.  if you dont you wont be able to keep the charge pipe or vacuum manifold on your throttle body.  as far as the dp bolts, use a half moon wrench, it will help.  and also when i did the swap i drilled and tapped the turbine housing for my o2 sensor.  try to post pics of the finished product.  if you take the plenum off it makes the swap much easier.

who is FDP??  i am finally getting around to buying injectors.  i'm not against taking intake off for better airflow while apart.  does anyone know whether the 65mm TB for the 3400 will work on our intake, or does our intake not go that big.  i have seen a 60mm on jbodyperformance.com they also offer to machine your intake to match.

im into drag racing alot, and it will still build boost while staged.  i did all of the math on the compressor maps, i knew what it was gonna do when i ordered it.  right now i am all stock other than the turbo, air intake, and fuel pump.  the only reason i changed the fuel pump was because the stock one gave out at 200k miles, so i figuered future planning.  the people at precision turbo told me that with 37-42#/hr injectors, 3 bar map sensor, and computer tuning the engine would make 400 hp at the crank easily. :icon_twisted:

i finally got my new turbo installed, it was worth every dime.  the GT2876RLS is a really good choice.  the only bad thing was i had to move the battery to the trunk, and replumb all lines coming into it.  it spools up about 2200 rpm and at around 10 psi it is still a caged animal.  the turbo was $1060, and the w/g actuator was $81.  all together i think i have roughly $1500 in parts and accessories(wires, plugs, k&n, 4" intake pipe, silicone boots, and plumbing supplies).

it was about 1400 for everything that i needed.  that includes air filter, silicone connectors, turbo, actuator, and accessories.  its being a pain in the ass, but it should be worth the hassle when i finish it in a couple of days.  for right now im just gonna run about 9 psi to see if the tranny will hold it, plus the engine has 199,000 miles on it.

I just bought a gt2876r turbo from precision turbo.  the salesman walked me through the charts and confirmed that with the 76 trim turbine wheel and .86 A/R turbine housing coupled with the 48 trim .70 A/R compressor i could push 400 hp to the crank with ease.  all i needed was a set of 37#/hr injectors, 3-bar map sensor, and programming to accomodate the set-up.  i will end up with a 2.5 press. ratio and a flow capacity of 40 lb/min
