I guess I wasn't clear, I asked for OEM parts help, meaning GM/ AC Delco parts. I'm 46 yrs old, owned 21 different cars over the years and the "box" stores worked when I was younger, broke and wanted "cheap" parts with great warranties. (LIFE TIME GUARATEE if you want to change it out 13 times) Now I own 3 cars, 2 trucks, 2 motorcycles and 1 ATV and I ALWAYS use OEM/ FACTORY parts when possible. I still suppport my local AutoZone, AA, O'Reily's with oil, filters cleaning supplies etc. I even buy most of my TGP parts from the local AC delco wholesale dealer here in town, but the new guy there is a real prick! Trying to find GM part numbers for a '90 TGP, front engine mounts(dog bones), ignition wires, rad. cap, thermostat, serpentine belt. Maybe sites with the best prices too. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance...T

           It can be done!!! My daughter put in her I-pod adapter tape and it got stuck. I tried for 2.5 hrs to get it out from the front. No way. Even called a factory stereo specialist here in town and he wanted $300 to take it apart and get it out. But as on the level as this guy seemed something didn't seem right about our conversation. So I went back home and tried again from the outside rear.  I'd rather talk you through it over the phone, if you like leave me your phone# by email. Later...Tony

Passenger mirror is fine, but driver mirror will only move up and down. I thought is was the switch but since it works for the other side now I'm thinking it's the mirror motor. Any help, ideas, would be appreciated...T :damnit1: :confused:

Haven't used the cassett plater since I installed the 12 disc changer in '97. The other day my daughter puts in a tape that enables you to listen to her IPOD thru the car stereo. Now the tape is stuck in there, probably from from not being used in forever. Tried everything but no help. Any help from you guys. Thank you in advance...T :icon_mad: :damnit1:

I've just removed the oil return line, appears perfect but oil/dirt caked all over it. It just seems to me both clamps were loose and oil oozed out and down the line. Car history, 90 TGP, black/beechwood, leather, sunroof, cass, bought in 94 from original owner with 11000 miles, it now shows 71xxx, all original, except alt., dist. module, batt, tires, tint, JVC 12 disc CD and amp, frt wheel bearing hubs, KYB's all around, never any problems except stalling occasionally. Original X-over. Car has been kept covered or garaged entire life, in NC, Mobil 1 full syn since 11000 mi. every 3K religously! Car is nearly new, it sits covered and garaged cause I have 3 other vehicles.
   Question is has anyone pulled this line and it appears new as mine, should I replace or re-install. Thanks...T  :dunno:

How do you do the idle re-learn without the scan tool? Thanks...T

I read in my TGP factory Service Manual to use a Tech I scan tool to do the idle learn but it also stated how to do it without the tool, but I can't find it again. So how are you doing the idle learn without the scan tool? Thanks...T :dunno:
