It's been a while but I believe a lot of people really liked the gt2871r  it's what I originally intended to run.

Not sure why it's such a common problem on the 3.1s, but glad you got it sorted out.

I'm pretty sad to see that there hasn't been a post on this board in almost three months.  I got my TGP out of storage and have been slowly reassembling it.  Been ordering some parts and visiting junkyards to find some of the stuff I need but the 1st gen GPs are getting hard to find, especially the 89 - 93s.

OK, by no means was I trying to bash your time/run, I was just curious.  So with the Autostart the clock starts ticking once you've "reacted" then?

I'm not fimiliar with drag racing, so I may be totally wrong here, but doesn't a negative reaction time mean you jumped?  Which would make your time invalid?  I'm not trying to rain on anyones parade just curious.  Still an awesome run regardless, gotta love that trap speed.

Could you get some pictures, that might help get more interest.

I got it from Automotive Performance Engineering, but it sold already.

For sale is a Walbro 255 Fuel pump Part # FPG003 it comes with the install kit with everything except the fuel strainer, you'll have to get one, they are only a couple bucks.

Everything is brand new, I bought it to replace the one in my TGP which I thought was dead, but turned out to be a wiring problem. I bought it recently (within the last 2-3 months) so it will still be under warranty. (1 Year) They are $113 new, I'm looking for $90 shipped.

Thanks,
Mitch

I would think that with the GT28RS, bigger injectors, AND a good tune to make it all work together should get you into the 250-300 hp range.  I might also recommend a cam to help take advantage of that setup.  The Crane H-260 seems to be the cam of choice for moderate gains.  Someone used a H-272 but I thought they had some problems idling, it loped really bad (which IMO sounds cool as long as it doesn't die).  Can't really say what they make stock, again a good tune can do wonders.
