Messages - GOT2B GM

Now available!

These are essentially a reverse engineering version of the now long defunct FFP Performance front engine mounts (dogbones).

So far I have:

3.4 DOHC mounts which will fit 1991-1997 w-body applications, and
2.8 / 3.1 / 3.1 Turbo mounts which will fit 1988 - 1993 w-body applications

These are CNC machined from billet aluminum stock and will come equipped with Energy Suspension polyurethane bushings (better than what the FFP mounts came with)

They will come with my "GOT2B GM" logo CNC engraved into them.

Comes with your choice of red or black Energy Suspension polyurethane bushings.

Prices are as follows:

$99 USD shipped for a 3.4 DOHC mount

$189 USD shipped for a pair of 2.8 / 3.1 / 3.1 Turbo mounts

For custom engraving please contact me with a detailed request. Price will vary on a case by case basis depending on the complexity

Now for the eye candy....

3.4 DOHC

Longer mounts are for 2.8 / 3.1 / 3.1 Turbo

CUSTOM dogbone lengths available upon request.

Will you take mine as a core or is it too messed up for you?

Replied via PM here.

Sounds like it's been hacked up pretty good.

Bottom line, if it doesn't have flex bellows, it WILL crack. No matter how much you weld it back together.

The crossover's close proximity to the extreme heat of the turbocharger, means that it sees quite a bit of expansion and contraction with the heat cycles of day to day driving.

Long story short, if its an original pipe with the heat shielding in place, it'll be cracked.

Typical symptoms are: running rich, idling poorly, exhaust scent / exhaust leaking ticking noise emitting from under the hood.

I've got 3 of these rebuilt and ready to ship.

I rebuild the crossover pipes should you need to have your original one rebuilt.

I will modify your adjustable 2nd gen rear lateral arms, by cutting them apart, shortening them by 1.5" for use as the front two lateral arms on a 1st gen monoleaf equipped car.

The section that is cut apart and re-welded is reinforced with a 3" length of 1/2" diameter solid round steel stock.

OR

Great question.

They are plasma cut from 1/4" thick steel plate.
