OK, since you didn't hold any punches back, I'm certainly not going to, especially for someone clearly in the wrong. That was an absolutely absurd reply, 90RedTGP. It was the equivalent to those assholes that flick you off because you honked at them for cutting you off, and nearly take out your front end. Invasion had every right to say what he said. Don't start insulting just because he called you out on your irresponsibility.
See, eBay works in a very simple fashion. You find something you want to own, you bid the most you're willing to pay for that thing, and if you win, you pay, and own it. You don't get to win it to make sure no one else does, and THEN really put some thought into whether you want it or not. It's a legally binding contract, which means backing out is technically not an option. That seller is well within his legal rights to sue you for the money of the car/force you to make good on your purchase. Don't act like you're doing us a favor by "passing info". There's nothing "nice" about trying to get out of your responsibility just because you're feeling buyer's remorse, now.
It's people like you that make the feedback system necessary on eBay. EBAy is not a game. Take responsibility for your choices.
Well put! ;)
