My car when it was together would do the same but not as frequent. It would be months before acting up. So  let me know if it fixes.

Ewwyyyy   that sure looks like it came off the showroom floor. The price is most definitely out of my price range, but could possibly seek that amount to the right collector. Beautiful car and good luck with the sale.

I remember you, never had the pleasure of chatting but your post and others before me is what inspired me to swap in a 5 speed. Never really saw pictures of it but do recall a lot of detail of post of the TGP though. Post some pics of it.

Not only would I like to do the rears this way, but would also do the fronts. After vacation I think I'll be getting back onto my car. I'm still redoing my engine bay. I want to stick some murdermat on the firewall because the prexistant insulator has crumbled off, however everyones giving me the thumbs down.

I think that ones been on here before, or could be that he colored those louvers as the guy I'm thinking about. Nice car clean and still has its valence. That seems to be a fair price for its condition everything seems to be there. definitly do not need another project car, but in this cars condition I would make it my daily driver.  :icon_lol:

Very nice, its in good condition, not to many left like that, good to see that this one has not fallen into someones hands that just simply rags them up. Just some simple cosmetic issues but those don't take very much to return to new like. I wish you could keep hanging onto it, but I understand that you have to lean towards the best project. Good luck on the sale.

Electronics/Audio/Security / Re: Speakers in a STE
March 05, 2013, 08:32:42 PM
I really don't get online much at home, mostly at work. I really do want to start working on the TGP again, but money is the only thing stopping me these days. I atleast finally got around to doing the FMIC however the engine has a very small leak at the main seal (next project) the transmission has also a small leak, which most people would ignore. And then of course put everything back together. Placing the battery in the trunk will now give me more room to work. So which pioneer CD player do you have? I'm not sure on which speakers to place in there, but keeping the same company name, seems like a good idea.  :thumb:

These have to be very rare by now, especially after starting with a 1000 made and owners not taking good care of them. Glad to hear stories like this where someone atleast tried to keep them in good condition. Keep us updated.

Yea especially if the undercarriage is all rusted up, just doesnt seem feasable to restore it. However as you notice theirs people on the site thats willing to purchace some of the items on your car to fix up theirs, thats not in such bad condition. In fact theirs a few things that I would like off of it myself. I'll PM you on those items.
