when my TGP was stock , yes injectors left me stranded .    sounds like you checked just about everything else .

pop off the upper intake and ohm the injectors ,  a drastic reading will indicate you have a bad one ... or more.  Injectors are the first things I would replace with any TGP.

do a continuity test from the cranks sensor wire to the ignition control module , otherwise your CPS wont be doing much.

The tach and radio in these cars are known to be very problematic in various ways so im not sure I would blame that yet for your engine not running right.

Performance / Re: Ratcheting shifter for 4T60-HD trans?

Keep the stock shifter... its easy to power shift with the automatic ,  if you are flat out and accidently bump from 1st to 3rd... you'll still be shifting into second gear and will have plently of time to correct and lock 2nd back down .... so theres not much of a point.

Problems & Solutions / Re: high idle, stumped.

-when you unplug the IAC ,  what are you getting for vacuum ( assuming you have an accurate vacuum gauge)
- Is the PCV good?
- Does idle increase when you remove oil cap running
-  Did you unhook the battery and let the car properly relearn?
- have you tried spraying throttle body cleaner around the intake to locate possible vacuum leak.
- transmission vacuum modulator leaking or sucking in transmission fluid?

well the car was put back together after all , thought i was over speed ... maybe im getting old .  anyway proud to say the turbo was just rebuilt by holset has 1/2 a mile on it , things are looking up again for the grand prix .   IS THE FRIGGIN RECORD STILL 13.5 ????  im going to beat that next year , i think the car has a high 12 in her with this set up .

exactly  ^^^

hey oldindian ,  is it a coupe ??

Actually people have gotten around that for their near mint TGP.  Dont base everyone elses car off your fire hazard cob job never ending roach clip project.    Real TGP enthusiests arent into half ass back yard restorations for a $500 ebay profit like yourself.

yea... keep knocking everyones car and these things will never be worth shit...   i wouldnt sell mine for 20 grand.
