Problems & Solutions / Wont stay running.
September 19, 2006, 07:52:23 PM
I hooked up the TGP to a diacom.  The things that really were weird to me, and i dont know if this is normal, but when the throttle is 14% down, the sensor voltage is .98 (both will increase simultaneously) and i read in the book that the ecm will think the throttle is at 0% when its between .44-.98. Does this mean anything.  Another thing is the the injector pulses at around 750rpm are at 1.4. At a sudden increase in the throttle, the highest they get is 4.0 then drop significantly to 0.8-1.4ms. In the ON position with the car off, the pulse is at 8.9 and rises to 19.9 at around 50% of throttle. At 60-80% they drop really low and are at 0 at 100%.  I new to this diacom thing but is there anyone that can help me. The problem is that my car will not stay running and if it does run, will shut off without hesitation/stutter.

The problem is that the car will not stay running or start if no throttle is given to it.
Does it warm and cold. When it does stay running the idle jumps from 700 to about 1300 when it gets warm, then will shut down by itself.
Car will start fine when reprograming the computer but go to hell again in about 10 mintues and will die. Idle learned
No codes are shown. Have crossover pipe and jeffM chip.

things new in the car:
battery
coil pack
ignition module
plugs
wires
O2sensors
IAT

Doing a fuel pressure test it was  around 44PSI. After about 5 minutes it would be at 39-40 borderline.
When the car was running, the PSI was at 39-40 and would increase to 45 when given gas and quickly would drop to about 35 afterwards. The car would still need throttle not to die.
Ohm on the injectors are all 12.8-12.5.
Does this still sound like a bad injector or something else???
