Nick, I like varsol, I soak a lot of parts in it and they really come out clean and disolves oil.

I didn't loosen or take the tranny mount off, just lifted the motor, you should take your lower and upper turbo cooler pipes off and any K & N filter or air box pipe.

You don't have to lower the sub frame or take the harmonic balancer off, I did mine, go to this site and go to "89 TGP Lower Motor Mount Change".....Dogbone

Not sure what you mean by lockup, but other than shifting a lot smoother now it is the same as before, not going into OD. I was reading in the manual about adjusting the TV cable?

My tranny won't shift into overdrive, it shifts fine from 1 to 3, I changed the filter and put Royal Purple in it, anyone got any ideas?
