Word I was actually born in phoenix and i come up there often for baseball games :). I also have family that lives up there as well. Anyways, even though you dont want my car if you find someone locally to buy it I will hook ya up with 100 bucks. I dont have a problem driving the car up there either if you find a buyer. When circuit city was still in business i use to drive the TGP up there about once a month for meetings, so the car has no problems making the trip. Thanks!

There is the link, dont give me a hard time about the price, it doesnt apply to you guys :) I just hate people on craigslist, if I put 1700 on there I would have people offering me 500 bucks.... you know how it goes. If you guys have any questions about the car let me know.

OK so here is the update... I did this before I read your guys' post.... I got home and swapped out the sending unit on the back of the thermostat, and finally the needle goes back down... I also checked all the grounds for the battery and the connections on the battery looked good as well, so i take it for a spin, and the sputtering and all that has gone away, the car drives 100% normal, BUT its still heating up really fast and not regulating coolant temp like it should :( AND the most annoying thing is that the stupid alarm is still going off! and my HUD still says "check gauges"... now, this only happens when the lights are on!? if i turn the lights off, the beeping goes away, but the check gauges still stays lit??? And by the way its the same alarm that beeps if you were to leave your lights on and exit the vehicle... so im kinda confused here guys.... any new suggestions with the info I have given??? Thank you all for your time....

Alright guys, please read this and anyone who has some good advice please speak up :)

So two nights ago Im driving to the grocery store, suddenly an alarm starts beeping from under my dash (something I have never heard from either of my TGP's) I look down to check my gauges and I watch my coolant temperature skyrocket from about 150 all the way to 260!!! And the needle stayed pinned at the 260 mark, i pulled over right away, but didnt have any of my tools with me and it was to late to go anywhere for parts, so i leave the car there, today I go back, swap out the thermostat and make sure the coolant system is completely full, with a temperature sensor I let the car idle for about 15 min, and made sure the temperatures were correct, which the were, i checked the temps on both the upper and lower radiator hoses. So i decide to drive home, BAD IDEA, I get back on the road and the car starts sputtering really bad, my guages are bouncing all over and my interior lights go out completely... and then the car dies. When i try to re-start the car wont even crank, 10 min later it starts fine and I manage to get it home before it dies again as im pulling into my parking lot... so im assuming my temp sensor sending unit could be bad??? But would a little sensor thats bad cause all these problems??? Its honestly really bad, the car is not driveable by any means... please help...... thanks....

Hey guys, as i mentioned I had to go out of town for work today... i drove my car about 10 miles to my co-workers house and the car ran perfectly fine... we went to our confrence, came home, and then i got in the car and drove it back to my house... once again it drove perfectly fine. whats going on??? :( there were no funny sounds and the car didnt stutter at all. No obviously it was fairly cool both this morning and tonight when i drove it home... so is it possible the 110 degree heat is playing a factor in this problem? and maybe its only acting up when its really hot out.... just wanted to see if anyone had any ideas for me... i obviously dont wanna replace the fuel pump or pay someone to replace when that may not even be my issue????

Alright I think I am going to give this a shot. There is a buddy of mine with tons of tools and we both have Wednesday off so as long as he agrees to help we should be good lol. I located the thread about how to install a walbro fuel pump. Should I use that as a guide??? Anyone have any tips or suggestions for me? I appreciate it guys....

It better not have been diesel. there was not even diesel available at the pump and I did select premium. I'm really thinking its the fuel pump... after the car cools down and sits for awhile it starts and runs just fine... So I'm in agreement thats its probably on its last leg.... I personally dont own any tools so im sure im going to have to pay someone to fix it :( shitty! I have to go out of town for work tomorrow but i am planning on taking it down to a local shop on wednesday to have it fixed....

So heres the deal.... I go to take my buddy to drop his car off to get some tint put on. After we drop his car off I noticed I had under a 1/4 tank of gas so I pull over and put 30 bucks in. we run some errands, everything is fine, then we go back to pick up his vehicle and I shut my car off. when i get back in and go to start it, it barely starts and is hardly running, it sounded absolutely terrible, like the car was burping or something. Anytime I would try to give it gas it would just die. So we let it sit for like 20 min and then it starts right up, i drive 15 miles and am almost home when the car dies again, it repeats the process of barely starting and dying whenever i give it gas. I then noticed that there seems to be some weird humming noises coming from the fuel pump area??? But once again after about 15 min. it starts up and it ran perfectly fine the rest of the way home... So my question is whats going on? Is my fuel pump bad??? or did i get ahold of some really nasty gas??? I am hoping someone has had the same or similar issue.... Keep in mind I live in tucson az and its around 110 degrees right now so maybe something is just getting really tired because of the heat? Any help would be greatly appreciated... from what I have read it looks like the fuel tank has to be dropped in order to replace the pump... right????

Thanks for the info... turns out I was retarded, I had the right switch the entire time, I must have just been looking at it wrong or something??? I had a buddy of mine who has swapped the switch out before do it for me. It literally only took him 10 min to crawl under there, remove the old one and put the new one in. :)

So im not sure exactly what you call it, but the thing at the top of the brake pedal that tells the brake lights when to come on and when to shut off is messed up. When I press the brakes the brake lights come on normally but then when i lift my foot from the pedal the lights stay on, i am having to put my foot behind the pedal and pull it back towards me every time i want the brake lights to come off, which is getting really annoying!!! Anyways, I got the part from a local store to replace it and it doesnt look like its the right part.... I was wondering if anyone else has had to replace this piece and might be able to help me? Maybe someone out there has the right part number because the unit I was given doesnt look like its the right one... any advice would be appreciated!!!!

So I hit the biggest pot hole in town last night, completely tore apart my tire and cracked my rim, I took the rim to a few places this morning and they all said that it can not be repaired. So I am in desperate need of a new wheel. I have already checked all the junk yards and numerous places around town and no one has anything, of course I could get one from the dealer for 488 bucks! But NO THANKS!!! If anyone can help me out it would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks guys.

I was thinking 2.5" would be good... the car has the stock cat on it with 179k miles so im sure it will enjoy the extra breathing room.
