Problems & Solutions / Re: injectors

Got the yellow tops in. Seems like a nice improvement. Ive got a little hesitation at take off. This car has 42xxx miles all original. Never seen snow and is garage kept extremely clean. Next step is plugs wires. Has original air cleaner. Dont really like the idea of the open air cone K& N. Isnt that setup what they call "hot air intake"? Especially with how hot the underhood temps get with these cars!!! I have a fender well intake with my SSEi. Has anyone fabricated one of those for these cars? I suppose the crossover and tune should be in order too.  Not sure how far I want to take this though as I might be looking to sell. Looking to get another G8. My other TGP has 44k. Ive owned it since 94 Ill save the major upgrades for that car.

Looking on ebay for injectors. There are thousands of them it seems. Any recommended sellers. I found a company "master injectors" on there. They sell reconditioned injectors. They are cleaned flow matched and have a lifetime warrentee. Any preference to the gen. 11 (metal body) or the gen. 111 (plastic body) ? Im looking at doing both my cars. They quoted me 12 injectors for 110 shipped.

Bullet,
All I can say is WOW! I didn't realize that we had a deal or for that matter arrangements for pickup.  After the extent I went through to get you as much info on the car, all the extra pictures I took because you could not travel to see the car in person. You've definitely tried to attacked my character here no matter how you try to tip toe around it.  If any one has ANY questions on the car feel free to contact ME and I'll tell you HONESTLY everything I know about it. In an attempt to not clutter this post up with "drama' I have all the email conversations I have had with you that would correct some of your interpretations of our conversations. I didn't realize it was a crime to have three Pontiac Turbo Grand Prix's - I am a "collector"!  I'm not selling this one because I'm trying to make a quick buck or unload this collectible auto.  I would be happy to offer one of the other two for sale but the asking price would be considerably more.  I think it is amazing how you can talk about "my" car - you have never seen the car in person.  To me it seems you are upset I did not sell this car to you and now want to sway anyone else from doing so.
I would be happy to accept your offer that you stated in an email. "If you can get the car running and driving I would gladly pay up to $1200 in it's present condition".
I would like to elaborate more, however again, do not feel I need to defend the car I have presented pretty accurately. I don't want to say I am the "most" educated TGP owner but I have spent countless hours researching and working on my cars.  NO, I am not a mechanic by trade, but have a love and passion for the car.

Long story short . . .
I have many friends in the car community that respect me.
Yes, the car is in what I would call, decent shape.
I know it needs help mechanically and have stated that fact.

Respectfully,
Wachsone

Nice catch. I never noticed this difference between the 89 and 90. I did notice the cloth sections are a different pattern too.

Penglii you stated in another thread the 255... # would work but Im just checking to see if any one out there has used it? IS there a sticky/thread for this repair?

Can any one confirm if part # 25528382 will work? Is part # 88927271 the only one from GM that works? I see that we can get the HYDAC one on ebay yet. Now at 139.00 ea. just looking to see if we can get these cheeper as I might need three of them? If you can find one in the jy is it worth the trouble only to find its shot as well?
