General / sold my girl
May 22, 2016, 11:11:56 AM
Just would like to thank everyone that has put info in this site, it has been very helpful. I sold my 1990 turbo Grand Prix that I have owned for the past 20 years. I had a lot of fun and a lot pissed off days with her but I know its going to the correct new owner and he has the same passion I did. So for you guys that have a love hate relationship with your TGP you can move on after the fun ride. thanks for all your help over the years.JoeC

Its installed in my car and works fine, i will look at the part to see if it has a pre charge amount. The only differance was the pump comes on after two or three apps of the brake.

Great topic, I'm in the process of replacing my battery box it has corroded away from battery acid. Found one in the Pick a part yard and will bolt it in instead of welding.

It's like a love hate relation with the TGP. I also own a 07 Grand Prix GXP the younger brother so far brake roters have been the only problem. traded my 05 GP comp edition for the 07 and traded my 96 GP for the 05 and before that I had a 90 turbo Trans am. cant get the pontiac out of my blood also a 71 lemans and 79 wagon.

I have had my PM3 problems as does all of us but as much as we say it sucks I can say this it saved my wife once on a four lane highway a guy cuts a 90 right in frount of her and stops she had about fifty feet to stop and the TGP and PM3 worked well she stoped about 2 feet from his door allmost t-boneing him, I think he had a death wish but she stoped and I was thankfull for my TGP. I know any other car would not have stoped in that short of time. So as much as I have read about the PM3 it works well when it works.

Just installed new accumulator and started the car, the pump runs every other time the brake is applied. Does anyone have any idea what is bad now?
