April 20, 2010, 01:51:16 PM
Does anyone have a step by step guide to remove and reinstall the pm3? I checked http://www.kazmotorsports.com/tpsgarage/ but the website is no longer up.

I don't know, it was dark. It had to have some mods though because that thing sounded like a beast.

TGP vs. All / TGP vs Envoy
July 03, 2009, 09:48:33 PM
Just got beat by an Envoy by a car length. If my tires didnt spin it wouldnt have been as bad but it still would have won. Sounded like it had a V8 in it.

General / Re: gas mileage q for you guys

I'm getting about 21 mpg with mixed driving but I live in the Baltimore area of Maryland so highway driving is pretty much the same as city driving half the time. It would probably be less if my A/C worked.

Is the chip still available?

Problems & Solutions / Coolant Leak
May 08, 2009, 09:41:57 AM
My engine is leaking from somewhere under the thermostat housing. It only leaks when the RPM rises above 2000. Any ideas?

From what I have been gathering these things only last a few years new so I wouldn't bother unless you're in a pinch. I just bought one from gmpartsdirect.com on tues and it should be here sat for $175 shipped.

at gmpartsdirect.com under the abs section there is a motor relay...that should be it right?

Do you think the heat could be causing a relay to stay open? If it is the relay are they still available?

Recently we have been having some hot weather here and i had the brake problem but today it was 60 degrees out and no lights came on. The pump comes on after every brake press but it stops now. I know the red brake light had nothing to do with the parking brake because it wouldnt come on until you first pressed the brakes then it would stay on. Both of the resivoirs in the master cylinder are full. From what people have been telling me i either need to bleed the brakes or replace the accumulator. I guess i'll try bleeding first. Thanks for the help.

After scouring the forums for an answer i've decided to just ask. I have the red(orange to some people) brake light which stays on all the time and the anti-lock brake which flashes after a few minutes of the car being on. When I turn the ignition to on(engine off) I can hear the pmIII unit continulously hum. I am still able to brake but does not feel like I would be able to stop in an emrgancy. An suggestions on which part might need to be replaced?

Just bought a 1990 tgp. VIN# for people that collect them 1G5WP14V8LF295374. It's red with tan interior no sunroof and no cd player. It came with the original owners manual and tapes.
