The air filter box was there.  The motor looked completely swapped for a standard 3.1, I'm guessing they just pulled the last motor out complete.  The plenum had no turbo writing, regular crossover, no intercooler or piping.  I see him drivin local so next time I will post the vin.

Spotted an black 90 tgp at the gas station.  It had se badges but had the tgp front end and louvers.  I had to ask the guy what it was.  Said it was a turbo but when he popped the hood there was a brandy new 3.1 minus the garrett.  How sad :icon_frown:.  Powermaster swapped for regular brakes as well.  Interior was all tgp.  The guy had no idea what he was drivin, he just knew the cluster said turbo.  Wanted a grand for it but what was IT anymore.  Good 2 c a tgp on the road still but......  Oh, the valence was in perfect condition but he would not sell me just that

General / Pace Car Spotted
October 01, 2009, 04:05:43 PM
Hi everyone.  Today I spotted a red turbo grand prix with pace car badges.  The two visible badges were the "Officical Pace Car" on the side door under the turbo badges in white.  The second badge was a "Nascar" badge in white on the front  bumper.  The car was without a sunroof and parked in a driveway in Markham, Il.  The front valence looked to be torn off/missing.  Don't know much about the Pace car, did it have any extra performance features?  If its a real pace car it must be a rare find.

Problems & Solutions / Re: pm3 clicking

Hey.   I ordered an accumulator from gmpartsdirect about two weeks ago.  Part : 88927271.  They just cancelled my order due to part being discontinued.  Anybody got any thoughts on where I could get a new accumulator.  Thanks.

Thanks, I'll get it fixed right away!  Do you have to bleed the brakes with an accumulator change?

Problems & Solutions / pm3 clicking
August 18, 2009, 08:31:25 PM
Hi everyone, got a problem.  Sometime when I step on the brake pedal I get this "clicking sound" coming from the pm3.  The pedal/brakes slip a little when this clicking sound is made.  Anyone ever experiece this??  Both of my Turbos have had this sympton and it doesn't happen often.  Checked brake fluid and it was full.  Anti-lock brake lights is flashing and has since I've owned car, but the brake light comes on briefly everytime I step on the pedal.  Any adivice would be awesone, thanks
