TGP vs. All / Re: 90 TGP vs. 97 corvette

NTRCOOL-the kid comes out there all the time. he used to run a red turbo eclipse with black wheels tht ran 17s. he ran his vette at hangover fest and blew the trans/rearend out of it coming off the line. and the power/money comment is true but i didnt have to pay for the set up. the stainless piece was given to me and i already had the filter and rubber section

The GST eclipse, TGP and the nissan 300ZX twin turbo all use the T25.  Iive read the factory specs and worked on all 3 and the eclipse and nissan both have T25 like the TGP does. I dont know if you can get just that center piece but I know there are a couple parts stores in my area that sell rebuild kits for the T25 but I dont know if that would do what you need to.

Theres no way in hell he's gonna get 15k out of that car. Its a nice car but not 15k worthy. And I second that with only four pictures

The car looks nice other than the pinstripe. The ad doesn't say whats mechanically wrong with it so it could be something major or nothing at all. I would give him 6 or 7 hundred bucks for it.

the lock rod may be bent. if u do get the door open pull the panel rite behind the handle off and there are two rods there. 1 is the handle the other is the lock rod.If the lock rod is bent just a little to far it wont release and will prevent the door from opening. My car did it shortly after i bought it.

Pulled the engine and tranny out today in my driveway! Attempting to get funds together for a rendezvous for the drivetrain. Will upload pics tomorrow after school.

Must not have been able to get 6k. 4500 is a little more reasonable.

what's the part number for the TGP valence? the one they have listed is part# 14088031

I also found that they have remanufactured TGP front bumper covers and rear bumper covers.

Quote from: NTRCOOL on February 21, 2011, 04:22:55 PMJust pick up some headlight restoring kit from an auto parts store.

I have some that stuff I just wasnt sure if there was a set of glass ones anyone had they would be willing to sell. If nothing comes through with looking for glass i will find the best two out of the four I have and clean them up.
