No, unfortunatly the lower valance is gone...It was gone when I bought the car...sorry.  The turbo is off the car....needs to be rebuilt....I have the turbo and all the parts to it. This car would be a good car to part out or a  good body to transfer parts on to... It is also good for the automatic transmission(only has about 6,000 miles on it after complete overhaul), fuel injectors, sensors, interior peices , window motors, glass , fenders , hood vents , etc....... The car has only been sitting up for a few weeks, maybe a month.....I need to hurry up and get rid of it.....any help would be appreciated. Thanks        Sean Lucas

Thanks for posting the picture....and yes thats all i have.....its just a stock turbo grand prix...nothing special about it.....it has never been wrecked so the body is in good shape.

How do I post the pic I have saved on my computer??? The master cylinder leaks and the x-over pipe has been repalced with a stock non turbo x-over pipe since the turbo was taken off to be repaired that never happened.  The original turbo x-over was repaired (cut and welded) and I have all the original turbo parts in the trunk.[/img]

I am selling my red 89'TGP.......It spun a rod bearing and is knocking.....runs fine just has a bottom end knock.I have the rod bearing to repair it, didnt run car long at all after knock started..the 3.1  engine only has 111,000 original miles on it....interior is decent(TAN), good Heat and A/C ....good automatic transmission that has just been rebuilt recently.  The turbo has been tooken off to be rebuilt but just never got around to it...but i have all the parts, tires are in decent shape, no major body damage,(a few dings here and there)  everything else is fine...Good car to rebuild or to part out. I have a legal georgia title for the car.

I found out what the biggest cause of it was...I had 2 vacuum lines off...one under the plenum and one behind the engine....thanks for all of your help....

what model is the turbocharger on the TGP considered??? T3,T4,T25....I am looking for a rebuild cartridge and i need to know this info.  Does anyone know of any good websites to order replacement parts from?

Yeah the bearing, but the kit i found was considered a cartridge because you get the whole center of the turbo including the oil seal and whatever else is in there......also how much did you pay for your kit from ebay?
can you explain how to mark the housing/shafts so I dont screw everything up....and have to send it to you to fix it.....LOL....thanks in advance.

well Now come to think of it i do have a terrible exhaust leak from the rear manifold....maybe thats my problem?

Has anybody tried replacing the cartridge inside of there turbo at home and taking the chance of it not being balanced? What was the results and where did you buy the kit, how much was it? Thanks in advance.
