Not to mention the 3076R with the T25 flange.  :icon_twisted:

Stock flow rate is 22#. I've seen a lot of people go for at least 30#, more for those seeking to break into the 13s and beyond with serious mods. Google "injector flow rate hp calculator" and that might also give you a good estimate for what power you want.

I'd wait for the upgrade bug to infect you just a liiiiiiiiiitle bit more before you talk to flybynite about the tune. You're gonna want more upgrades the more time you spend with one of these wallet incinerators, so best to have something adjusted with a little more kick available from the get-go. Big fuel injectors are a start, especially since you already got the Walbro in the tank.
Or, you could go for it now and try your hand at TunerPro later on. I think I'm going to get into that very soon.

Off Topic / My TGP in 2004
February 09, 2013, 08:04:40 AM
Went to see the last owner of my TGP because he was pretty partial to it, he had photos and papers from back when he bought the car.
http://sdrv.ms/WVPeKh http://sdrv.ms/XuyfL9 http://sdrv.ms/WVPj0y (Right-click and select View Original for massive ~6000x4000 scans.)

This was my car at 36k (2004), and it was the first owner. The second (previous) owner used it as a daily driver through another 36,000 for the next several years before I picked it up in 2010/2011.

The pictures here were when I first got the car: https://picasaweb.google.com/1150873...eat=directlink The bumpers lost some clear-coat, the front valence is trying to make a break for it, and the seats are a little worn+torn. It's held up pretty well for a 1990 GM IMO. Also found out that the accumulator was already replaced, so that's good. Already knew about the switch to R-134a as well.

Its a auto and I would go to a track but kci closed and I don't want to drive an hour to other one

Same problem here. Probably costs more in gas to get my car across the bay than the entry fee, plus its an eighth-mile (the road ends feet before a crossing dirt road followed by a corn field, lol), plus its only Friday evenings and I just want to go home after class... Nearest full is in Biloxi, maybe 2/3 hours west? :icon_cry: Closed Emerald Dragway, closed Atmore dragway...Never actually set up races and sure wish there was a better way, though.

Last resort would be asking local municipality nicely if we can close down the airstrip once a week for some fun.....

Looked up specs online... The mustang's a good 100 HP & lb/ft extra so I'm not expecting anything different. The Mitz is some 600-something pounds lighter so I wouldn't count on a win, but that Camaro is toast like you said.  :icon_lol: What have you done to your car?

Makes me so wish my clear coat wasn't so worn off on the bumpers.

Did all the '89s have that different upholstery? I mean the lined design in the middle of the four seats in my '90 is not there in this car, but it wasn't reupholstered if there is a big gash in the passenger seat...

Suspension/Wheels/Tires/Brakes / Re: new rims

Quote from: jimmy on June 09, 2010, 10:32:36 PMhowever I would have went with a VOLK GT Rim's (Gold series)

Quote from: POPEYEZTGP on June 10, 2010, 08:53:48 PMYes i agree Jimmy gold would of been nice

So I went and color-matched a gold hue to the original wheel in a photo editor.......

I think this looks worse.

But then I thought about the aluminum lip on the standard wheel...

Don't nag me about that back wheel. Get a better camera, dude.

Well I just clicked the link again thinking this was a new thread. :icon_redface:

But at least I can report a certain "friend" of ours is still proudly listing his Red Hell McLaren: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Pontiac-Grand-Prix-McLaren-Turbo-/110989350091?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item19d77b14cb#ht_1255wt_1165

.......if it was Black....

The red seems to only work with the tan interior IMO.

The gauge cluster is shit on every single TGP. I haven't bothered trying to fix anything except the low fuel light, and that takes re-soldering a chip on the back of the gauges. Of course I suck at soldering and now the light is back on so... Whatever. You don't have to worry about it if you don't want to. And also, I believe the other two gauges are usually off as well; my mechanic said the temp reading was lower than it actually is.

We aren't sure the man responsible for messing up every TGP cluster was ever fired from McLaren for it. :icon_lol:

As far as high idle is concerned, the others can help you out, as well as find that low fuel light fix (wherever that writeup went) for you to try. IIRC, fixing the entire cluster is a much bigger job...
