New Best!!

I went to the track today and ran a new best!!!   On my first run I ran a 2.129 60' on crappy pepboy's futura tires that the previous owner put on.  Anyways, I ran a 14.629 @ 95.17 mph.  I was psyched because it was my first run of the day.  I've never felt it hook like that, and I actually got a little wheel-hop off the line, which has never happened to me before in this TGP or my other.  I only got a 14.7 and 14.8 on my later two runs though so as of right now a 14.6 is my best.   8)   In case your wondering my elevation is 520 ft above sea level.

Congrats on the new PB. Curious, what did you run against that went 12's?

I remember it was yellow, and I think it was a old charger, but I don't really recall.  There were a lot of older cars there from the muscle car era that were running some very respectable times.

I have to see if my friends taped it.  They had the digital video camera with them, and they have taped my on previous occasions.  I watched one a couple times and it's sweet to hear her spool up on the line.  My one friend swears it sounds like a jet ready to take off.  :lol:   I'll have to ask them if they have.  I asked them before, but they always forget to give me the tape.
