hey guys anyone know of some good newb mods i could doo that arn't to costy i need to save alittle money b4 i got with the vortech :P

Um...what are you modding? A 3.4? A TGP? Judging by the vortech comment...a Chevy truck?  :shock:  :?

This really isn't the place to discuss 3.4 engine modification. www.w-body.com would be a better place.  :wink:

It all depends on what you want to do with your car. Do you want to 1/4 mile race? Autocross? Or just have a car that has some moderate power when driving? No matter what you choose, some sort of Cold Air Intake is a good mod to start with.  :wink:

I don't know too much about modding 3.4s though. But I do hope to get my first GP with a 3.4 towards the end of this month!  :D

I'd say replace the alternator and timing belt.  :!:

Not really mods, but a good idea nonetheless.
