Colored map lights

This is a great Free mod.  I have seen afew people who have colored the map/door/acc lights using colored bulbs but complained about the bulbs blowing. The way I colored my lights, I don't have to worry about that.  

Steps:
1. Go to attic and find a kite that has the color you would like to use
2. Cut a section of the kite that is slightly larger than the cover of the light you want to color
3. Pull the light cover off
4. Fit the kite piece over the cover and cut slits in the kite where the clips on the cover are
5. Replace cover and allow extra kite fabric to stick out the sides.
6. Use and exacto knife or box cutter and trim around the light to get rid of the excess.
7. If it isn't the color you like, or is too bright, repeat the steps and add another sheet behind the cover.

I was worried at first that since those lights do get pretty hot, that the plastic would melt but there seems to be enough distance from bulb to cover that it isn't a problem.
