cleaning aluminum off of engine

should i have my intake manifold and plenum beed blasted or jet washed to get them super clean and new looking?   my motor is apart and would like to have it looking as close to new as possible when i reassemble.  i just dont think that carb cleaner or degreaser and a shop rag will do the trick.
reliving my youth searching for a TGP.
