Low boost

I got my chip and i love it (aside from the fact i lose all boost since i have to let off to shift, Help!), however i seem unable to push hardly into the orange w/ out warming up the car for at least five minutes, is this a safety feature or is something wrong? Thanks

Yes

The chip has different boost tables depending on coolant temp. So you don't romp on it too hard when its cold.
