My speedometer and tach are not working very well in my gauge cluster.  I replaced the speed sending unit in the tranny in hopes that the sppedometer would work, but it did not help.  So I am going to switch gauge cluster and put the one from my parts tgp in.  My question is, is there a way to move the number of miles on the new odometer to the miles that my 1990 car has on its odometer?  Can I spin the odometer by hand or something?

Hey Olds1992...

I don't know if this would apply to your problem or not...but I have heard that if you don't have a good ground that the tach and speedo will wig out on you. I am not sure though if you should be checking for a chassis ground or a cluster ground. Someone with experience with this please speak up!
