What should i search for on ebay to find a remote for my RKE? My car didn't come with any and i'd like to see if the one in my car works or is fixable. Model number or whatever would be appreciated. Thanks

Do a search for one, some or all of these words:  GM, Pontiac, Fob, Keyless, Remote.  Using combinations of these should get you some good results.  From the information I have the correct part number for our cars is 12522339 (I got this number from GM parts direct) but IIRC there are others that will work.  Good luck.

I just went to one of the local dealers to their used car dept.  Found one of the salesmen and said $5.00 for a used remote.  He opened his desk drawer (30+ remotes) . Alot less time consuming than e-bay.  And its local so you can go back and get anouther one (if yours does not work)
