Junk yard run...

hey guys, one of the largest junkyards in the country is right here in town and this saturday they have $1 day.... so if anyone needs anything small lemme know and i'll see what we can find.  

Gotta love Harry's... $24 entrance fee then $1 for ANY part in the yard  :twisted:  :twisted:

89 GP- Headlights, foglights, corner lights. Must be the original factory lights with the black border around them.

If my anniversary wasn't Saturday, I'd go. Wonder if the woman would go for it?... :agrue:

I'm looking for a 1stgen DSM turbo blow-off valve pipe. I don't need the BOV itself, just the pipe and flange it's connected to, rust free. It has to be a firstgen turbo DSM, 2ndgen won't work for my application. I'll pay the $1 and whatever shipping is to.

ok, here's the scoop guys...Went to the yard today with moderate results.

The people giving me a ride had a limited time to be there so I didn't have a whole lot of time to just look around.  

As for the headlights- All that I could find were either plastic or cracked or gone already.

For the STE Pannels- I didn't even see any ste's in the yard. one newer style 4dr gp but that was about it. For some reason it seems like the GM section has gotten tiny in the past few weeks.

As for the GP driver side door pannel- I have one on my old GP that i might be able to hook you up with its in pretty decent shape... The carpeteing along the pocket  on the bottom is a little messed up as it is on many gp's just from being so old. It isn't real bad but I can probably get a pic of it for you if your interested next weekend when I go home.

As for the BOV's.... ha!!    Any 1gDSM w/ the flange or BOV still there i'm grabbing for me... but there aren't any sorry(i've looked many many times)

So that's about it.. unfortunately probably not what you wanted to hear.  On a better note: I got the ground effects I need to fix the TGP  :D  :D   Once I get the TGP back on the road I can make another run to the yard here... won't be 1$ but their prices are still rediculously cheap (engines=$50, tranny=$40, doors/fenders/hoods=$20, headlights/taillights=$6, bumpers=$20, etc.)

So Davis-let me know about that pannel if your interested.

So I'm curious, what town are you talking about??  I'm from Irwin, PA just east of Pitts.
I'm looking for a louvered hood, front bumper & front passenger headlight for my 91 STE.  Think they might have any of those parts??

I was talking about rite here in Hazleton, PA (just south of where 81 and 80 cross) Harry's U-Pull it. http://www.wegotused.com  You could probably find the headlight & bumper pretty easily but the hood would be VERY hard to find... don't think they have any of them there that i've ever seen.

BTW... it is THE LARGEST u-pull it yard in the country, not necessarily largest in general.
