cutting out when going from part to full throttle

Ok, I just want to know if this happens to anyone else.  It's done it on both of my cars so I don't consider it a fluke situation.  It's happened with a bad x-over as well as with a Jeff M. x-over, and with and without a Jeff M. TG chip.

Ever notice that when you go about 1/2 throttle or a little more and you hit full boost or close to it.  Then if you try to give it more gas it hesitates and cuts out like a really bad miss.  This has happened on both of my TGPs like I stated above.  I've been told that black smoke comes out of the exhaust when it happens.  I haven't run my datalogging program yet as I'm the middle of making a cable for it.  I have new plugs and taylor wires that I'm putting on soon, but I don't think that's the problems as the plugs/wires that are on it are less than a year old. Anyways, has anyone else experienced this??   :?

Does your SES light come on?  If so, it's your overboost fuel cut.

Nope, no SES so it's definitely not boost/fuel cut.

I used to get overboost with no SES light.
