Went on the 27th to Houston Raceway Park about an hours drive from me.

First time I have been in about a year and a half. Temp 87* and get this humidity 100%.   Yea it was sticky but not on the track. Had the problem of wheel spin all night. Gotta get the launch boost down some more.

Had an occasional miss on every run until the last run where it missed all the way down and I just shut off. Found it the next day. #5 plug had the top broken. The top of the plug came off with the wire. Don't know how much difference it made if any but I can't wait to get back and try again.   It?s also a lot colder now and our heat wave is over.

Had some pretty good runs although not as good as my seat dyno predicted. 3 in the 14.0?s and one in the high 13?s. No, no juice just 93 octane gas from Walmart.

Matt, you can add this to your list if you want to but I think you will just have to change the numbers again next week unless it rains.

Sorry the time slips are so big. I don?t know how to shrink them.

13's are definatly possible.

Well, we know 13's are possible, you hit them.   :D  So what all has been done?  If you don't mind me asking.  I think 13's are possible w/ just a turbo upgrade.  (Aside from the obvious, chip, filter, x-over)  Maybe I'll have to prove that.   That'll be the first step anyhow.  Damn good night, especially that monster 1.9 60'er.  At that onto the 13.96, you could make up a tenth or so.  I wish I could get back out to the strip, but it shuts down soon, or already has.  Too cold up hither.

Yea Jay finally got there.(in fact you once said get that bad boy to the track) So I did.   Regardles I think the 13.96 was the tip of the iceberg. I did have problems. Oh and my best 60' was 2.08. that was the other guy that did the 1.9. I'll get there. :)

Just the turbo will get you blown engines.   Beleive me I know. I have as much time and money in the fuel system as I do the turbo and I am on the edge with fuel delivery. If you can do the chip to handle at least 30# injectors then you got it.

I am working on a list of everything I have done. Will take a little time as my memory evasde me regarding all the stuff I have done to this engine.
You already know most of it.

It went from 87* a week ago to 65* today. It's almost getting too cold to race. My track will be open till the 19th of Dec so I should get at least one more try this year.  Then It will be to cold for me.

Keep warm up there.

In MI we race when its 40* outside...I don't want to hear this crap about it being too cold to race in Texas.
