I know this has been discussed before, but I couldn't find it from a search.

Everyone knows how hot the engine bay gets in the TGP. I already have my louver drip pans removed. I have my a/c condensor removed [my a/c needed recharging anyway, and I think it still had the old R12 in it] to let more air hit the intercooler and the air filter. I plan on having my hoodscoop installed next year for added cooling.

Now, my tore at the weather stripping on the firewall because he couldn't get to the tranny dipstick  . Would it be ok to just remove that peice of rubber? I know it would let all the hot air out as I drive.

It Will Let out Heat.....especilly with a hood with Louvers..... :)

I have always had the ones in my cars removed and no problems and it works good in Winter keeping the snow and ice off the wipers....
