You can see how much of a gap there is with the flare

Mine has just about the same gap, but mine doesnt move. I have just left it alone. As fas as tightening it up, you can go around into all those nice and tight and snug areas and make sure all the bolts are tight, and are not missing. They are in the fenders, the main bumper bolts, and about 15 other little bolts besides.. (some behind the headlight I think??)

Ok, i got the 3 on top, 2 in each fender well, and what else?? I see this large black frame lookin thing with 3 studs and a nut on each one on each side up in the fender. Do they have to come off??? Please say they dont, because on the passenger side theres ALOT of stuff in the way, and they are REALLY stuck in there. If they do, is there an easier way to get to them on the passenger side where the freakin Trans cooler and crap is at

you have to remove the tranny cooler to get the passenger side. it's only 4 bolts for the cooler. getting the bumper on/off is a pita, especially with some previous front end damage, where everything's tweaked and even more rusty.

I seem to remember have some access to those nuts through the fenderwell in the engine bay, with the fusebox/black cover/computer out of the way? I could be mistaken. At that point I probably had it all out of the car anyway.

dear god what hell, i would never wish such hell onto somebody. snapped a stud god damnit, and bent another, my god these were rusty, the PB blaster really did the trick for most of them. Its off, but i just set it back on and propped up the corners so it didnt sag.

Soooo uh what the hell do i do about that stud? How do i replace it

I already told you I thought. oh well, sorry.

you have to heat the shit out of it with a micro torch and just yank it out with a needlenose. dont worry, the plastic will still bolt back down trust me. thats how they do it when they pull them from junked cars at the yard. just use the heated bolt to cut a nice thin slit through the plastic.
