Since its finally getting nice I decided to throw on the headlight covers yesterday and came to realize that with the glass headlights I have, there are 2 "air" hoses on the outsides of the headlights that are right where the tabs for the headlight covers go.  Is this just a fluke thing or is this normal?  I ask because the covers seem to have quite a bit of gap between the foglights and the covers, which isn't very good looking.  I contacted Ryan since he is the only one I knew right off that had them except he wasn't sure, so, anyone with headlight covers have any input on this?

remind me sometime this week and I can take a few pics of one of my covers that isnt broken, and we can see what the difference is.

Take a pic of what you are talking about so I can see what we are comparing.

Dont want to paint them red as that is ilegal in my area. But if I were to put like a red tint on them, that would be legal as long as my fog lights arent covered and in working condition. They did make them in clear as I have seen them befor (befor I bought a w-body).

Alright here are pictures, sorry so late, I have been working all night detailing the car :icon_cool: Didn't get to the windows since I don't have the stuff for them and ran out of time, no outside pictures either as its raining  :icon_evil: :icon_rolleyes:
Anyways....
Gap...

Ugly to me...

Why gap is bad....

You beesh!!!!

So, I did some surgery like normal tinker people do and removed them, I'm assuming they are air vents or something for the headlights as when I finally got them out, which was a chore, there is a nice gaping hole that needs to be taken care of.  It took down the gap quite a bit on the passenger side but the driver's side keeps sliding back off a bit, must have the bottom on to far?....
