HAD IT!!! With the Birchmount Rear Leaf Spring!!

Just to rough a ride here in the North for that thing!!

contacted Michael from FFP for a set of Coil-overs and im gonna try them out as a alternative for rear lowering......

im sure the Birchmount would be fine in areas with little ground frost in winters that don't F**K up your roads but not in Northern Ontario im afaid....

im waiting to hear back from FFP about them shipping to Ontario and NOT USING UPS but USPS

will update ya when i have more info

The FAF is the fiberglass lowering leaf right? Ever thought about trying that one?

Ya Luke i did some reading on it when shawn over "there" got it.....the way that FAF company does business from what i hear dosen't really make me wanna deal with them any....

read one guy needed over 3 to get the proper ride height even

if i try the coil overs and not like them i may go that route if i have to later on, all i know is that this metal leaf's GOTTA GO!!!

Personally im leaning to USPS because i have had great luck with them for most of my USA shipments and i have been RIPPPED OFF by UPS one to many times before!!  :icon_mad:

how soon were you wanting to get these Matt? maybe we could combine our order to save some shipping costs...... :icon_neutral:

good to know, i was contemplating ordering a set this week.  my Cutlass isn't going anywhere until i get them :icon_sad:  it's already sat in the same spot for almost a month now.

I was thinking of getting them in late Aug or Sept, for my TGP. My Z34 is in the body shop right now getting a complete paint and body job. I just got all the plastic bits (bumper covers. GFX, grille, etc) back, all painted up. Once I get the actual car back, I'll be spending a while getting it .all reassembled. I figured I'd get the CO's for the TGP after I'm done with the Z34.
