my sisters neon had the same prob... start by taking the headlights outof the car. get em to a sink and clean em out. a lil soapy water will do the trick. put some inside, shake it up and voila clean. just rinse em out real good and use an air blower to dry them off. (make sure theyre dry on the inside had to redo my sisters lights cuz they had spots in them)
Cheers!

I don't think thats quite what he's looking for. You are talking about the discoloration from the UV light. The lenses turn yellow looking and foggy. If you take some rubbing compound or even some waxes, you can buff the headlights so they are clear again. If the lights are really bad, you will have to start with sandpaper and sand them with finer and finer grades and then buff them.

thats pretty cool i didnt know they had stuff like that. anyway when i did the cleaning to my sisters neon it worked mind you it could have just been moisture on the inside of the lense drying so that means i look like the shmuck lol.  :bag:  when your done that, if you havent already done this. try going to uhh (we have canadian tire here in canada lol) ummm pep boys i guess and pick up some sylvania super-white bulbs. they are really bright and last a long time. (unlike those ricer "xenon" bulbs your lucky to get over a year out of em)
Cheers!

You mean Silverstars? :) They're nice bulbs! I just installed some in my 1999 GT. I also got some Wagner Lazerblue foglamp bulbs that match the silverstar color!!! :)

well im not sure about what you call em but i know at the local canadian tire they are called super whites. but iether way as long as they dont look too (blue-ish) in my opinion that looks too ricy lol. those sylvania bulbs i told you about run something like 12 bucks (canadian) so theyre inexpensive and are bright.

i only have one good question though about lighting. what is the best kind of driving or fog light?
Cheers!

The silverstars run about $20 US here. Plus if you buy two, you can get a rebate on them!  :) As far as fog/driving lights, I'm not sure what's the best for the TGPs. I haven't found a book yet that lists them (or any 90 model) as having fog/driving lights. I also have yet to pull the bulb and look at the number. Blazertech seems to be the best company that makes driving and fog lights for the 97+ GPs.
