Just curious, who all has one? Since I figured out my tranny wasn't going out, I realized I have more money to spend. I am having one installed next weekend. CompuStart, not a Viper, but no need to be. Remote start, two remotes, the premuim display remote, with built in timer, counter, and other settings. Also I am having a security system installed that covers everything right up to the trunk pin. Finally, and most cool I personally feel, it has the keyless entry...I don't have the remotes for it so this kicks ass!

Anyone else?

I have one.  Mine is a combo RKE, car alarm, and remote starter.  Not sure what brand it is- I'll have to go check later.

Awesome. What kind of range do you have? The package I bought has a range of 3000 ft and can go through most buildings...$476.14 installed. 2-24-07 is the install day. I'm pumped :icon_biggrin:

I dunno like 100 ft right now, but I need to replace teh batteries.  I'm sure it will be much better range after I swap out the batteries.

I just installed mine, its a viper 791.  Range is 250' right now however stupid me tried starting it in gear hitting my brothers car  :icon_redface:    So now looking at a new front fender well, other than that I sure like it.

wiring it through the neutral safety switch would've been a good idea.. :\

Jimmy's car is now a 5 speed car. I told him this could happen while we swapped in the 5 speed. He is going to change the option to open the trunk to instead put power on the brake lights. His set up is if the brake pedal is hit before a key is put in it kills the engine. So this should be a kill button for him. He can move the trunk opening to a 2 button push option. Plus we are going to look at fabricating a set up to put inline with the crank wire to tell if the car shifter is in nuetral. It will either use some micro switches or a proximity switch. I guess when we do this we should take some pictures and post them up. The fender is bent up but the car is drivable. It also showed it had bondo on it. I guess its learn the hard way.
