1.8L Turbo Jetta

On my way to work this morning I got to line up with a Late model 1.8L Turbo Jetta! When I pulled up to the stop light a car was pulling up behind me, but then jumped into the left lane next to me. I looked over and saw the guy looking at my car. He revved a couple of times and I just looked at him and smiled. He pointed up the street and I nodded my head and accepted his challenge. The light turned yellow for the cross traffic and I put it in first gear. When our light turned green I drew the clutch and feathered the throttle to 4000RPM. The Jetta tached his way up and just dumped it when the light turned green! Big mistake! He had much tire spin and he started to drift towards my lane. I moved over slightly so he would not slide into my car and we were off!!!! I dropped second gear real hard and barely started to pull on him! He was right next to me until I went for third. That is when I really started to make tracks on him. By the time I got to the top of fourth gear I was near to my turn to go to work and I backed out of it. He was about 4 cars behind me and I signalled to make a left turn for my work. I had backed out of it and all of a sudden here he comes doing a Ricer fly by!!! I felt like following him to work and asking if his throttle linkage was stuck and couldn't slow down after he was beaten! :lol:
