WTB: Engine?

Honestly I dont know and cant say for sure. I left my girlfriends house today, got to the stop sign and started to go and it was just a little pop kind of and went slugish so i took the next right and coasted back down to her house. I could hear something metal on metal slapping around in there... so it doesnt sound good. I dont know whats up with this car. I dont beat on it, its just a money pit. Pretty much the last major thing left to replace. Oh great the turbo is next.  :icon_redface: Just kidding hopefully.

I have put way too much time and money to give up now. Any ideas? I dont know what to do. I have some money... dont know how far it will go. I just need something reliable because this is my only car now.

Is it knocking really bad? Does it have oil? Has the Oil pressure dropped since doing so? It suppose to take alot to make a 3.1 Die short of having no oil in it.

Plenty of oil, coolant, etc. didnt check the gauge was just worried about parking it asap. its knocking enough to be very noticeable not extremely loud but when it does do it it sounds like metal/ metal slapping. After it happened i stopped in the road and it almost died when i pressed the gas again.

Love this pain in the ass car, but if the engine is toast it will be most likely be going bye-bye. Dunno yet...
