Ok guys. So with my Invasion1 chip, the EGR is deleted. Since it serves no purpose, I removed it several months back. I chopped off the stock EGR tube, but kept the fastening part that screws onto the crossover and connects the tube. I pounded a few dimes in there, and it did very well, no leaks!

However, yesterday or the day before, I noticed my TGP was louder than before, and just yesterday I noticed that this plug is gone! This means it would have had to been unscrewed or blown off the bung! I'm not going to investigate for details on what happened, but I would like some help. I need to know what size fitting will fit over the nipple.bung/whatever it is, ans screw directly on. I have no clue, and the one hardware shop I had gone to when I did it first couldn't match anything up...but they're kinda second rate. Anyone have an answer? Thanks!

Just to clarify, I'm looking for a cap that will fit right on the EGR bung, not looking for another dime method, since that one kinda failed lol.

Its the same size as your water heater, dryer, stove gas plumbing. A decent hardware store would have a cap for it.

No, sorry I was really tired when I posted it and forgot to ask the size of it.

If anyone ever needs to buy a cap for it, it is 1/2 inch in size. 99 cents from the hardware store...actually found the right size at that same store...they have a better supply now.
