Send John a private message on the w-body board, I'm sure he can answer that for you. Some of the others can answer that for you too, I just remembered seeing John's post about a rebuilding one of these turbos a while back. ;)

that looks like the one i just got from the g pop shop. the turbo wasn't very difficult to take apart. i found a saab website that a person there did a turbo with alot of great pictures. their turbo is very similar to ours.

Yep that is the website that gave me confidence I could do it myself!  Heheh don't worry Adam I'm still going to buy your chip!  What special tools and modications  ;) snap ring pliers and a puller? any info would be helpful.
