HAS ANYONE HAD THER TGP LEATHER SEATS REPAIRED? MINE ARE AS GOOD AS NEW EXCEPT FOR THE DRIVERS SEAT. SOMEONE LEANING ACROOS THE FRONT CONSOLE PUT THEIR KNEE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE PERFORATED SEAT BOTTOM AND IT TORE THE CENTER PIECE. HAS ANYONE GOT ANY SUGGESTIONS OR HAD REPAIRS DONE THAT CAN ADVISE ME HOW OR WHERE TO GET THIS FIXED?  ::)

unfortunately, repairing them will most likely mismatch them because of sun bleaching.  Your best bet is trying to find one in good condition, but the chances of that happening becomes more remote by the day.

I suggest taking it to an upholstery shop and having them show you the color and leather they would use, and go from there.  See if they can match it??

i stopped by a auto trim shop and they told me that it would cost around $2000. they said about $700-$800 just for the materials alone. i may start looking at some newer gm cars to see what may fit. in the spring i will try the seat out of my daughters 97 gtp to see how they look.

I saw some of their work at the world of wheels show recently, their work is amazing, and pretty cheap. Was going to look into having them repair my leather steering wheel in my chrsyler. Google Dr.Vinyl and there is a more national directory.
