First and foremost I want to thank Adam for getting me all that extra power.  I really appreciate you taking the time not only to come up to NY but dialing this car in!  Thanks man!  Good luck with that 5 speed swap I'm glad I could be of use to you for a change ;)

Anywho we went to a dynojet outside Scranton, PA.  Not the most how would you say organized shop by any means (multiple issues just getting on the dyno and once we were on there the WB on the dynojet was measuring 16 AFR as compared to my LC-1 in car reading 11.5-11.9 AFR) but once we DID get setup they were super cool and let us do many more pulls than originally stated.  Ended up doing 8 pulls for $120 basically had the dyno from 1:30-5pm to dyno and tune.  So mixed feelings but probably would go back again since they were easy going about it all.

Basically the car was running strong in the morning but Adam wanted to add some timing.......so on the way down we stopped and reburned a few times.

First pull was 251 hp and 297 ft-lbs at 14 psi.  Not bad I thought out of a little 2.8.

Well look below for the final numbers.......I'm sure there is more in the car, exhaust was limiting boost to 14 psi so need to free that up.  Mods are in my sig......I do have LS1 valve springs in there as well.

Car feels great!  Lets see how long it lasts!

Any time Ken, It was a blast and I had a great time. You and the g/f took very good care of me and it was greatly appreciated... Ken's car is very strong and the #s don't tell the whole story. I feel like the exhaust system and the altitude of the Pennsylvania mountains messed us up a little bit but my butt-o-meter says it sure is a fun ride...   :icon_mrgreen:   Ken even let me drive it and I assure you guys when the turbo spooled up it felt amazing..  I was greatly impressed with the car and the hospitality..  Lets do it again sometime...  later dude

damn man... you are just not havin any luck with that car, you may as well just give it to me... lol
turboing the 3400 would be pretty sweet though but maybe you just need to spend a little more on your internals?? idk I am not too keen on engine internals when it comes to all this... :p
I guess maybe I won't turbo my 89, cuz I've been thinkin about it... lol

The 2.8's had a problem with there crank journals.  I would throw a 3.1 bottom end in there and that should last you a loong time.

Too late the 3400 is in and wired up running on 8F.  It is plenty fast the way it is, and it runs on 87 octane getting 27 mpg    It feels about as fast as my 2.8 was with the disco potato at 10 psi.......which is probably low 15's maybe even a high 14 but the torque is massive on this engine.

With my tune and stock 3400 it spins the 245 tires at 20 mph in 1st and chirps 2nd....I think that is some torque.  I got it out of a 05 impala so it has the big throttlebody and rated at 180 hp.  I think with a 3500 upper manifold and 4.3 vortec throttle body it might be over 200 hp.  Those will be my first mods.....hahah.  Anyways I think I'm going to sell a lot of my spare parts......I'm going to take pictures this weekend and post up.  Anyone who wants a GT2871R with all the braided SS lines and fittings with 2k on it and remaining warrenty PM me.  I'm not going to give it away but I will sell it for a discount since it is used......
