Washed my '90 Black/tan car and took a few photos.

Cross-post from the W' board. ;)

Most of the pictures aren't that great due to various reasons. I took a few photos inside a parking deck, but they didn't turn out very well, so I'm not posting them. One side of the parking deck was too dark, and the other side where the sunlight was coming through resulted in half of my car being badly overexposed in the photos. I ended up just taking a few photos on the portions of the deck that are outside.

I left my cheapo tripod inside the car(you can see it laying behind the driver's seat) for this next one, so it's a bit blurred. I should have pulled the car into the spaces one row behind these so that the green outdoor lights wouldn't have been shining on the car.  :icon_redface:

Interior after vacuuming and dressing all the trim with 303 Aerospace protectant.

Random HUD pic. Hit a dip right as I snapped this one, so it blurred somewhat.

Front grill emblem.  :icon_mrgreen:

The emblem reads "Pontiac" from the factory. Jeff M. had these made and passed out some with his chips & x-overs years ago. :thumb:

I think my next mod to this car is going to be a late model factory cd player. I can't stand listening to the radio. If I don't change it out soon, the steering wheel controls will be wore out from constantly changing the station to find something decent to listen to.

EDIT: Had to change a few emoticons. Some of them have "icon" in front of the name here vs. not having it at the W-body board. And if anyone is wondering, the car still has right at 75,000 miles on it. I'll probably drive it a bit more than I have been doing the past few years. I put about 120 miles on it the past two days just riding around wasting gas. :icon_cool: Gas is around $2.50 for premium here @ the moment. That's a lot better than the $4+ I was paying a short time ago. Here in GA(and other parts of the Southeast), we got f****d badly and then even worse after that so called "shortage." :icon_rolleyes:

Thanks. ;) I prefer Black too, but I also love the bright red. :icon_mrgreen: I have black + red, now I need a white TSTE & a Medium Garnet Red TSTE to complete the turbo color spectrum.

I hate you, Matt.  I really, really do.

No, seriously.  I do!  :icon_eek:

Give me that McLaren badge!!  Man, that last overhead shot of the TGP would have been AWESOME for the ClubGP calendar.  Maybe it's not too late to shove it in there!! J/K  Seeing threads like this just makes it harder to go through with selling the turbos.  :icon_frown:  Of course, seeing one that perfect also makes it harder for me not to take a sledge hammer to mine.

Hide your current cars and tell your wife you did a grey interior swap on the TGP and got a new paintjob on the TSTE. ;)

Thanks. I love the way the cloth looks, but the leather almost seems to be a *little* more comfortable. I think the leather seats are just "broken in" compared to the cloth ones.

:icon_mrgreen: I want to take another overhead shot like that, but this time with the car positioned so that the pole(s), lights, etc. will not be reflected in it. Also, in better lighting as well. I doubt anyone would have picked my car for the calendar anyway. Nobody seemed to like my red car. Besides Aweb's GP and my red car, almost everyone else had seriously crappy photos(especially with them intended to be in a calendar). I'm no photographer by any means, but my picture at least looked "ok." :icon_razz:
