I hit 240004 on the way home from class today and the car is still runnin great. Haven't had to do much to the car aside from rear struts, front plate bearings and alingment. Haven't had to do anything to the engine but add coolant every few months, still haven't fixed the leak... lol Also I think I have a bad drivers wheel bearing now and bad CV shaft on the right, easy fixes.
I do think it is due for a tuneup cuz my mileage has dropped from over 30 to about 24 on the highway, might be attributed to my bigger tires though, but ima do new plugs and wires and an oil change soon, it's probably about due for all 3.
I've been lovin this car, takes quite the beating and never backs down. I easilly put 500 miles a week on this car and it's as strong as when I bought it.

Not bad! You got about 20,000 miles to go until you catch up to my 1993 Grand Prix. ;)

That's not a moonroof, that's RPO code EJT....for the ejection seat break-away panel. :icon_mrgreen: It looks like someone installed that themselves and didn't cut the hole big enough or something...

The previous owner before I had the car must have broken the factory sunroof.  The car came with the receipt for the sunroof install, and the switch is still inside the car.  I think the PO broke the sunroof glass and just siliconed a camper window to the top of the car.  Its not pretty, but at least it is quiet and never leaked on me.

awesome, these engines can last a lonnnnnng time when taken care of.

btw, my old Turbo/5-speed '91 Cutlass sedan is still running great!  my friend that bought it last year came over last night and wanted help finding a new clutch.  he's going to get another LUK RepSet for now (which is what it has now) since he's short on cash, but will eventually go with a SPEC when he rebuilds the extra LG5 engine i gave him with the car.  i'm going to be helping him replace the clutch soon.  it will be kind of cool to work on it again.  i believe the Cutlass is up to ~270k miles now.  it's still using the Cutlass's original LH0 engine that was turbocharged with TGP parts at 227k miles.  never been rebuilt either.  as far as internal (shortblock) parts go, all i did was replace the oil pump and timing chain when i turbo'd it.  i've been telling him to join this forum but i don't think he's all that into internet forums.
