Ok, I was out cruising the strip [Rt. 224 in Boardman, OH] with my friend in my TGP. I was heading home when my car started to hesitate again [long ass story, read this post to find out all the juicy details http://www.netavalanche.com/tgp/viewtopic.php?t=504 ].

I was stopped at a light in the left lane when an early-mid 90s Buick Skylark [the one that shared the Oldsmobile Achieva platform] got next to me. I wasn't doing anything, no revving. My friend looks over and sees the passanger and driver looking over at my car, "they're looking all hard at your car" said my friend. So they started to slowly inch forward past the white line. The light turned green, car in OD, I started to accelerate normally. The car hesitating and all, I was door-to-door with the Skylark. I begged for my car to clear itself as I slowly got upto 30mph [it gained 5mph every 2-3 seconds], then at about 40-45 with my car still loosing power, I slowly pulled past him driving to about 50mph in a 40mph zone.

I didn't use any hazards or anything as I just cruised at 5 over. The Skylark did a ricer fly-by as I was going up the hill and he tapped his brakes like he won or something

He got infront of me as we decended the hill. Jumping infront of me, he turns off going to the local Shake N' Bake [I haven't been there yet. I heard they have really good food, but a bit expensive].

The following weekend, my car was running normal again. So I drove it down the strip after a game of bowling with my friend [same friend in the previous story]. I white Sunfire GT pulled up next to me with two cute looking blonde girls in it. We where the first at the light as it changed, She floored it out of the hole to about 50mph I guess. I left normally since she didn't rev on me or anything.

At the following light, she started to inch forward. My friend told me to go for it. So I did. She chirped the tires as she floored it [that surprised me] and I accelerated a little harder then last time. My car decided to be a bitch again and the hesitating came back. I slowly reeled her in as I slowly passed her doing about 55mph. I slowed down for the next light. I left normally as she flew by me and did a quick turn into a parking lot.
-------------------------------------------

I really need to find out what's wrong with my car. It's probably the injectors, so that's the next thing on my to do list.

Sorry man...but you slowly realed in a Sunfire GT?? That is just sad man!! I would not even bother to give them the time of day with my car...let alone waste my gas in a short drag! Sorry to cram your story like this...but this is not a kill man... 8)

Ha, I know that's sad. But my car was dying and I still managed to pull on the GT.
