From what I was told that TGP was as stock as a production model. Chip had a crappy tune, stock turbo and intercooler and who knows if the trans had any more mods than ours... To bad the cage was removed, That is the only part that would be difficult to replicate... My 2 cents,  That car was ruined when the cage was removed...  :icon_mad:   I wish him luck with the sale... It's just another w-body with a turbo now...  Had it not been modified for street use, I would have considered parking it in my heated garage..  ;)

He Frikin!!!!! ruined it!!!!!!!! I remember about 4 or 5 years ago when I went to Las Vegas on vacation I got to sweet that car in the museum and actually got to sit in the car with the roll cage and all of the decals I'm sure it wasn't the fastest but it was part of history, now reduced to the....... a shit IDK why deface something like that I'm surprised he didn't put auto zone spinner hubcaps on it and the chrome stick on vents after putting the stereo in and pulling out the cage n fuel cell.

Kenny(TGPilot) removed the cage and all from it a few years ago when the owner brought it to his shop. Since a standard T25 was on it, I figure it used to have a race gas tune in it when they ran it at pike's peak. When they sold it to the public they probably threw that crappy tune in it to make it more streetable. I PM'd that guy on the w-body board that worked on these cars back when they were first produced to see if he knows anything about the chip that was originally in the car. He mentioned something before about different chips he had from back then...

i dont understand people sometimes.  i would have recommended not to touch the car. Thats like me taking a 9 second GN  , removing the roll cage, put the stock turbo back in and remove the intercooled badges and throw a 2.73 open 7.5 rear.  Hell why not just crash it into a telephone pole.

That blows guys I mean really that car was the crown jewel to many of us.  God if I could I would have went for it and preserved it.  I mean really what the hell the guy just pissed on TGP history in my opinion.  I know he had every right since he bought it but still it just makes my stomach turn.  Eh looks like another bites the dust in a way.  Now some retard will get it and finish the rest of it off in ignorance.
