ok i was on ebay and i ran across these injectors there blue for ford,, i read here how i can put the yellow top 302 injectors but when i call the parts house they want to know what years is the ford is,, i don't know i need to know what to ask, here is the add for the blue top

how is that possible? did they look like regular yellow tops?  how did you find out?

They look the same, however a small ridge on the bottom and the numbers dont match. Cross referenced the injectors on a few web sites to find out they are mismatched.  Wish I knew who sold them to us, would like to report them to the BBB and post on some forums how they are crooked businessmen.

How did I find out, after not paying close enough attentionreplacing the injectors on my TSTE it wont even start now, smells like fuel and oil level mysteriously rose.  All injectors OHM-ed out, but with inspection the remainder of my injectors (remainder of set of 20 bought off of e-bay) noticed slight differences.  Will pull them out Mon and get a matched set in there (or put my Accell 24's in there)
