TGP vs. GTP

This happened a while ago(summer), and it was a DOHC 3.4 and not a SC 3800

There I was cruising on Rt22 East at around dusk.  I get into the left lane to let some people on the on ramp get onto the highway.  I notice a red GP GTP(has same GFX as TGP, not the later rounder GFX) get on and quickly accelerate to come up along side me.  There was a car in the right lane and he had to slow down.  I then passed the car in the right lane and he came up on my left.  I looked over at him and he looked back and gave it a little gas and got in front of me.  I then got in the left lane and got next to him.  We both went a little, but I wasn't on it all the way, and he definetly wasn't on it all the way either.  I passed him and looked over and he was looking at me again. I got in front of him, and then I proceded to slow down because I had to get off there.  As I got on the off ramp he honked and waved and then I returned the favor.  

I wish we would have had actually raced, because there was a feeling of good will towards me that was evident with him honking/waving.  I wish  races were like that...a race and then a gesture of good will.  I would have like to talk to the kid because he looked about the same age as me(22), but maybe I'll see him again.
