Long Morning Starts

Every damn morning my car will take forever to start, just crank crank crank. I pulled the tank, the hose i had inside was fine. I put new Gates Submersible high pressure fuel hose on with fuel injection clamps and a delphi pump. Injectors have very little mileage on them. Just making sure the fuel pressure regulator is what holds all the fuel in the rail for a quick prime in our cars. And if thats the next thing i should be looking at. If i prime the key a few times, it will usually start right up.

With the engine running crimp the return line.  The pressure should build to over 47psi. Please post the results...

thought id update this. It is fixed. Found intake temp sensor reading about 50 degrees higher than it should. Way out of spec. repaced it, fired right up first turn of the key every morning!

13,500 ohms is  20 degrees F
7500 ohms 40F
3400 70F
1800 100F
450 160F
185 210F

Mine said it was 1800 ohms when the engine was about 40F  and it would just long crank crank crank and eventually it would chug to life.
