Caveat - NOT going to put down Jerek (radical revs / mach 5) or (never proven) 300+ HP numbers.

Taking my built block that I had in my 1989 as a 3X00 and putting it in my 1990 STE returning it to look semi stock. :icon_cool:

Block .20 over, balanced & blueprinted, Crane H260 cam, 90 lbs valve springs, ported & polished heads / intakes / exhaust manifolds. Cam squirter, windage tray, high flow oil pump, modified oil passages, roller timing chain, UD pullies, 36 lbs injectors, T28 hybrid turbo (thanks Adam).  Will probably take me a few months to finish and install.

Will also attempt to put the bigger radiator (3.4L GM unit) and my bigger intercooler, and finally bigger tranny cooler with electric fan attached.

Will keep folks posted and update this forum and car domain page.

Oh yea - doing this because I lost another tranny.....

Yes, I got two of them used off of another forum.  Will only run one on this car.  I have a shift lever from a 1997 GTP with the performance shift button that I plan on wiring into the fan as the on/off button.

I have a "scoop" of sorts that funnels air into the duct that leads to the location of the cooler.

The new one won't have the box around it like the factory one though.

fan would def help when in traffic or slow moving conditions where the cooler is getting no air, i'm going to do something similar after i get injectors and chip, i might try to put a small elbow or scoop to force air to the cooler when moving (not sure if thats what you said you did)

stupid idea but what if one of these was put in the piping that goes to the transmission cooler....
